The Gettysburg Address was written in 1863
after Abraham Lincoln was invited to give a few remarks after the main address.
The event was the dedication of the National Cemetery. Abraham wrote the
majority of the speech in Washington before He departed for Gettysburg, by rail,
on the 18th of November 1863
